Corrective Action Plan

Public Law 107-110, No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, mandates that schools not making adequate yearly progress for consecutive years and reaching Needs Improvement Level 3 or 4 implement a corrective action plan. Four Clayton County schools, Pointe South Middle, Lovejoy Middle, Kendrick Middle, and Mt. Zion High, must have a corrective action addendum to their school improvement plan. A district level team directs the development of the corrective action plan in collaboration with the state appointed School Improvement Specialist and the school leadership team.  An analysis of school level data including AYP reports, school report cards, parent surveys, HQ teacher reports, professional learning surveys also supports the corrective action addendum.
